to make me keep it i would need.... more power, better handling, better brakes so the more i think about it the less point there seems in it as for the amount i would have to spend on it i could buy a new car

Next up is a FMIC then a remap  50bhp thank you very much

I reckon you could do all that for around £2k so £2k + what it's currently worth would get you what?
I don't think there's anything I could do to mine to make me really like it
The only thing I like is that it handles pretty well (anything would though compared to the Ibiza)

I used to have a spreadsheet with how much everything you'd probably want costs but can't find it
Most expensive thing is the FMIC unless you can find a cupra in a scrapyard without front end damage

well after a few quick searchs...
wietec coilovers - £460
Miltec Exhaust - £400
Brakes - dont know
Stage 2 map + other bits - £400ish.
Clutch - £750fitted (but thats a sach clutch or something or other)
rarb - £115
and after all that the car would still look shit.

should of done although saw a cupra last night and the bumper looks so much better just cant fit one to mine without out a) modifying the bumper or b) getting a fmic
