it says ''at fault?'' to which i click the ''no'' option.
Non fault claim could mean you hit ice, a deer, someone hit you, your car was stolen etc etc...

i did think this, but just wanted to make it all legal as it'd come back to bite me in the arse if i hadn't declared it.

I claimed on my own insurance and didn't have any problems not declaring non fault accidents

I think you will find that there is no box for at fault claims as it says have you made any claims in the last 3-5yrs depending on what site you use

if your premium is going up as a result of a non fault claim on someone elses insurance you seriously should consider finding a different insurance company, been invovled in a few no nfault accidents, never affected my premium, theres not even any reason to tell them at all tbh

I seem to have had the opposite incident from most of you. I got a letter from my insurers telling me someone had lodged a claim against me for having an accident with them So I phoned up and they asked if I had hit anyone! To my knowledge I had not It took the best part of three fucking months for them to drop the claim

People that go to these ambulance chasing companies piss me right off, I'd get rid of them and make everyone pay the money back.
If you must claim whats wrong with using the insurance company, like people did before that guy out of eastenders started advertising that he was a lawyer
