I bet you'd be the first cunt to drop it a gear and toe it if something past you worth a play.
And dont say you dont speed or you've never had a ping with someone else on a public road.

Because when they discover your mods they will take your car off you and probably crush it if you don't declare it
Given the fact most people pay insurance monthly im sure he could affors an extra £20/30 insurance.
Since when have most people paid monthly?
I usually do for the first few months til i get together the remainder.
Most people i know pay monthly.
I had all mine set aside for this year then the gsi decided to spit its dummy and i had to buy something else.

Buy a socket set, and a Haynes manual. Then you won't have to pay someone to do it.
Fitting a power box is pretty easy, getting the throttle body is pretty tricky. The exhaust manifold is a pain to get off, but it's all do able.
The only way to do stuff is to learn how to.

If they were the same engine, there wouldn't be a difference in speed or acceleration

and dont forget the vauxhall 1.6 was restricted so not to out sell the 1.8 astra or something like that.dont think the 106 gti is restricted like the corsa is.would be interesting to see how a de-restricted vauxhall 1.6 would measure up to a 106 gti.if my memory is rite didnt vxr on here say his c16xe was like 151bhp to fly with little mods

common misconception, where it matters a 106 is no stronger or weaker then a corsa b, both scored the same NCAP crash testing scores iirc
