I can understand why they'd want Villa, but Cesc? I'm guessing it's for the future as they have the best midfield partnership in the world as it is. Wonder what will happen to Ibra too? As I doubt they'd change their formation.

Ibra hasn't exactly been a big hit so far and henry is off in the summer so i'd imagine they are looking at switching and changing formation a bit more next season.
I can understand why they'd want cesc as he'd slot perfectly back into the barca side and tbh any club would love to have him. I can't necessarily understand why he'd want to go their though as he's going to get limited time (compared to at arsenal anyway) with xavi and iniesta both startign ahead of him. Saying that though you don't really hear of barca 'fringe' players moaning about lack of starts but i'd say that's due to the fact they will pick up a medal most seasons.

Cesc will go back to Barca at some point but don't think it will be just yet.

He'll fetch about £30m I bet. More money that can gather interest in Arsenal's piggy bank.

Thread on BBC 606 related to Fabregas going: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/606/A68490174
1st post in that thread

Yes, Fabregas is a sensational player, but if we could cope with the exit of the likes of Vieira and Henry, then we can cope with the exit of Fabregas only if we have a decent replacement. Personally, I believe Nasri can grow into the Fabregas role. Also, if we can get Zlatan Ibrahimovich as well as Yaya Toure as part of an exchange deal plus say 30 MIL, I have not qualms. A front three of Ibrahimovich, Van Persie and Chamakh would do a lot to solve out height problem once and for all. Plus, these three are just a deadly trio. In the middle of the park, we will have Yaya Toure, Song and either Arshavin or Nasri. Add Hugo Loris and a world class defender into the equation to partner Vermaelen, Clichy and Sagna then we can talk about winning the title. Remember that on the bench, we would also have Walcott, Rosicky, Eboue, Bendtner, Gibbs, Campbell, Djourou, Diaby, Dennilson, Vela, Wilshere, Ramsey and Merida. Now that is what I call depth!
that is one seriously deluded fucker

Ramsey won't be on the bench if he comes back from injury with no worries and doesn't do an Eduardo.
If Cesc leaves, Ramsey will replace him

Do you mean replace him by taking his position or replace him by being instantly as good as him?

Taking his position. He won't be instantly as good as him, and most prob won't be as good as him ever

I'm not so sure he will leave.
Arsenal need 3-4 big name players before they can challenge for anything other than the League Cup.
Asharvin was a brilliant addition for them, they need a few more of him!

Arshavin is a lazy fuck, the last thing they need is a few more of him! Sure he sometimes plays well and has little moments of 'magic'

Wasn't Arshavin also saying in the papers that he wants to fuck off to Barcelona as well
