How do you know it's shit then?
Doesn't seem my type of programme, very farfetched.
thats why i was loving it at first, i wondered how they could possibly explain everything.
then they just chuck in loads of bullcrap about time travel and the island moving, now my mate tells me there is split realitys or something. The writers really have used the ultimate cop-out imo
RUINED
They should have all died in the first place tbh.

i have quite enjoyed all of lost really. although bits have been a bit poor. its still been a highly bizarre programme and i have no doubts the end of it will be shite. i thought it was on for the full 24 episodes. shame its ending next week really. not much else to watch at the moment.

i have invested a lot of time into lost the full six series to be exact and it looks like the one major thing that really got my attention all the egyptian stuff, is not going to fully explained and that really pisses me off

What Egyptian stuff?
I hate sci fi and I hate shit that is far fetched but Lost is neither. Final show should tie everything up nicely.

What a cop out, explained nothing as per usual.
What happened to Walt? What was the egyptian statue about? Just a myriad of questions I wanted answered, never happened

Where was eko, ana lucia, walt, michael, nikki & paulo, polar bears, shark, all the extras, etc, etc?
I knew it would end like that but I thought they'd answer more questions.
(although, I did have a theory that it was about a paradox and making sure none of them left so they could meet themselves... but they kinda went out the window when some of them left).

I wondered the same
I really think when they 1st devised the series it was completed in like 3 seasons. TV execs said they wanted it longer after all the hype so they dragged everything out adding a few mysterys in to keep you guessing.
Then they noticed there exercise book had 2 pages left and they couldnt be bothered to start a new one. In like 3 episodes they've tried to explain everything. And failed.

The character arcs were fully developped which was great.
The mythologies of the Island were not which is not necceasrily a bad thing as this leaves a legacy that will be discussed for years.
What a bore it would be if we were spoon fed all the facts and little or nothing was left open to interpretation and imagination.
Just remember in real life you never get all the facts or the true meaning of things. This is a show that the fans will talk about for a long time to come. If we had all the facts it would simply be closed and forgotten.
Was certainly one hell of a ride for 6 years and to all the haters you have missed out as I cannot think of another show that has been as entertaining and as thought provoking as this in recent times.

i for one was completely happy with the finale and how it all tied up, if you understood what happened then you would know it was the perfect ending for it all. certainly was tearjerking at times, a fitting end to the greatest television series ever/

I enjoyed it BUT it was disappointing.
It didn't explain why Walt was special, why women couldn't have babies on the island, what the "sickness" was, what the heart of the island was, who dharma were, what the rest of the hatches were (with the question mark in the middle), etc.
I didn't want all the facts, just a little bit more; like what the hell that island was...
They couldn't be bothered to answer all the stuff they made up so they just wrapped it up.
The alternate "sideways-made-up-bullshit-purgatory" reality was bullshit too.
Such a cop out!
Most of my friends feel the same as me.

Massive plot holes where? It's ok not to be clever enough to work on more than 1 level.
I like the ending more now than I did at the time, was a lot to digest.

seriously?
Walt, fertility on the island, dharma, temple
all left to figure out yourself. reason they didnt know what the fuck it was about themselves
