How they gonna proove it

And anyway, just fill up a watering can, or a bucket. Works just as well, just the effort of a refill, or just use two

Ironcially a bucket uses far more water than a hosepipe, but thats ok.

The fact that it takes 3 times as long as when I use a hose pipe cos I've got to go in and out of the house to fill the bucket up 20 times to wash all the soapy water off and use more water than I would normally Its just a pain in the arse really.

You cant soak it properly before hand and knock any bits of grit etc. off either so yeah swirl central.

I'm sure you lot saying "fuck it" to the ban, will be the first to complain if your water supply went completely due to no water in the reservoirs. No drinking water, no showers.

If you use a sponge, whats the difference between a bucket and a hosepipe?
Its the sponge that makes the swirls.
Polish it every so often = no swirls?

20 times?

I can properly rinse off a car with 2 watering cans? Buckets are the worst way to rinse off a car, lots of water wasted.

but i'd still use the hose to rinse. Rinse, wash via bucket, rinse, leather, job done.

Dont use a sponge. Lambs wool wash mitt.

I need pressure washer to rinse and snowfoam the car to shift heavy dirt/grit before the washmitt goes near it..

Bad swirls aren't properly shifted by hand polishing anyway (often just hidden if using something like AG Super Resin polish) and i've no machine polisher.

Queue valuation jokes and bandwagoners.....

But honestly, the VXR got washed about 15 times in 4+ years. Once final polish, no swirls, no scratches (bar stonechips), paint looked as fresh and smooth as the day we picked it up.

Used to do all that car washing lark, spending 8 hours cleaning the corsa. Just aint worth the time spent as it'll get dirty again.

When it did get washed, wet it down, bucket wash, rinse, leather off it it was lucky

Not going to start an argument but i'd be very suprised if there was no swirls etc. I bet if you had it under lights like in a workshop etc it would be swirled to fuck. The arden paint/laquer is soft as hell and it swirls if you look at it the wrong way.

And I bet if you put your old VXR alongside mine you would be able to see a massive difference

But at the end of the day detailing isn't for everyone which is fair enough. I enjoy it and could easily do it for a living etc.

You dont even need to put it under lights in a workshop. Once the sun comes out and hits it swirls are revealed in all their glory

No argument?

tbh, I never really took the car to workshops. Garage, outside, get in, drive.

Probably, but it was used as a daily hack, snow, ice, rain, sun, so i'd expect it to

I used to enjoy it, get fedup of the cut fingers. Now, esp with the carbon on my bike, i try to do it as little as it needs to be done. Carbon = sliced fingers.

Seriously man, your not all there upstairs First of all you wanted an ex member who possibly killed his children, to come and kill me, and now this.

Future mental/killer in the future? One that turns mad, grabs a gun and goes round town shooting people when he's 40 cos he ex shagged someone else? Your on that line

you're

Coming from the guy that not only goes out of his way to rob people but is also stupid enough to get robbed himself?

Priceless.

When it came to handing out brains you skipped the queue and went for a toilet break, hardly surprising you ended with shit between your ears when you drink from the pan...

I meant I didn't want to sound argumentative.

Just to add tho...mines also my daily hack. Out in all weathers....I don't even have a garage to keep it in!
