Update:
I've been working on the wiring loom, fuel pipes, pas and location of the intercooler.
I'll be using a frontera intercooler to get the car running and set up
so its very slowly getting there lol but i'm a little stumped on a few things so if anyone can give me a bit of advice it'll be much appreciated.
Sump, where does this wire plug into?
http://www.corsasport.co.uk/carimages/7303/Photo0248.jpg
Drivers side of the engine bay, ECU temp sensor & temp sensor, where should these plug into?
http://www.corsasport.co.uk/carimages/7303/Photo0245.jpg
Passenger side of the engine bay, this runs off the the loom for the headlights from the car but i'm not too sure what it is or where it should go

Cheers stu, yeah that'd be right i think as i thought the blue connections were for thermostat, just wasn't 100%. I was also told to remove the wire on the sump but wanted to double check

would it not be easier to get a haynes manual for the car it came out of and follow the engine loom colours that way?

Bigger plug is your starter/alt/oil pressure wiring, Small plug is (iirc) the bonnet pin switch.

2. Thermostat
3. fan?

5. Fuel pump relay
I'll get the rest of it wired in tomorrow and hopefully get the gear linkage set and all my hoses on

Bit more progress today
Cut loom ecu side of things
http://www.corsasport.co.uk/carimages/7303/Photo0259.jpg
basically this is what would be plugging into twag's c20let conversion loom and then into the corsa loom
but becuase its all been chopped by the previous owner i went about soldering some new connections on.
Small connection block-1 (Diagnostic)
Brown/White
Brown/Yellow
Small connection block -2 (fuel Pump)
Thick Red/Blue
Green Connection block (Guages/Dash)
Brown/blue
Green
Blue
Black
So all the above photo's i wasn't sure about have all been sorted and now connected.

Cheers lads, Well today i did a bit more work on the car but as i wasn't very happy with the way it would & wouldn't select gears i had to strip it back down and remove the gearbox, once the gearbox was removed i set about splitting it to see the problem, turns out the selector rod wasn't lined up correctly
gearbox is now sorted sealed and back on the car, linkage is all fitted and so far so good i can select all the gears
