Its a good place Brunters. Very wide although a little boring.
Its all well and good watching the launches, but get down the end of the straight to watch the cars come past at silly speeds without some lame arsed plastic barrier obstructing your view.
Thats were I got Andy H going past me about 135mph with his 1.6 on TB at full chat. Just don't get that noise from acceleration.
As for the corners at Brunters..... Ask Ian.......

Not when it is built by himself you can't. Idiot.
EDIT: Just corrected the post as the same spastic that probably has only had a 1.2 8v Corsa also cannot fucking quote properly.

my only question in this thread is if speckys is 580 ish bhp and nics 550+ (iir can reamember it spinning some rollers at some point, may have been 450)why are they so far apart?
i mean no disrespect to barnes but ive seen him on a few occasions say he no where near specky?
maybe 1 of the 2 could enlighten me

POD is just some shitty airfield lol, like most dragstrips, some are surfaced slightly better then others, but tbh iv not seen a great difference between any of them

has Nic ever done an official topspeed 'flyer' :?
From Nic's time at crail (12.0) I would expected him to run around 11.5 at Elvington (on treads). A prepared drag strip is much quicker than an oil covered crumbling WWII airfield
Saying that I have no idea where I'd find time on my 11.0 runs 1.6s 60fts could be improved slightly and I suppose less slip high in 2nd. 10.7 @ 132 maybe at TOTB strip.

I'll let the European drag championship know this.
They can then change and go to York or Crail?
Most racetracks are airfields steve, and the surface material makes all the difference.
Slightly surfaced better

Pod is not shit. Anyone who says it is just can't bloody drive.
Its good enough for 5000+bhp Dragsters, its good enough for anything on the road.
