Just emailed him to get more pictures and fond out what the interior is, hopefully leather of some sort!
Got an email back, he is keeping it, as detailed in his email he sent me back
"Sorry mate keeping it now going for a remap tomoz "
The hunt continues!
In other news though, just had 4 tires put on the golf so that can be sold now

The gsi looks a million times better than the coupe, in standard guise anyway.

My old one is on piston heads atm.
I enjoyed the ownership for the year, had no real problems with it in that time. The main thing that annoyed me was the feul costs ! Seemed every time I used it I had to put £ in it. If I had kept it I no silly money would of pumped into it which is so easy to do with so many options.

Love mine, had it for 2 years now and dont see myself changing anytime soon. Getting 32mpg+ atm with phase 1. It handles well on standard shocks and eibach pro springs. Obviously wont handle as good as a 182 as its bigger and the steering is a bit light but it doesnt bother me. As always its down to what you want so best to just test drive one

the mpg on these cars must differ from car to car as my gsi is good on fuel i think, i mean its easy saying an m3 get as good as a gsi but then again a gsi is as good as a stock 1.8 mondeo with 115bhp so end of the day as well it depends on how u drive it...... you can find yourself putting ur toe down quite easy without spotting it and i think this is where people go wrong....
performance dont come free end of the day and im pretty sure a gsi is no worse than a type r or leon cupra r etc they will all be within 1-2 mpg of each other so...........
running costs i think are quite good really...... i nearly never bought mine cos i was reading about turbo's blowing on them....... and 4 years on all ive done is the afm so for me its been a very reliable car.

In all fairness parts are cheap for them, bar turbos which can cost £550 not inc gaskets and studs etc
