Hardly a glorified car wash...its all about paint correction and protection. Theres more to it than just making a car "look" shiney.
Hence why I wouldn't smear silicon all over my car.

Exactly the same as painting/repairs, i think detailing is a hell of a skill but requires so much patients and an exceptional eye for the smallest things
