it shouldnt be compared in any area. Not just power.

Vxr is 10x better in every way to a gsi.

well define small then as to me its a small hatch back

Not as small as they used to be, I just see them as quite big cars especially if you see one parked next to a B

i cant see why people see new cars getting boring.
Everyone has their own opinions i know.

Imo, i see them getting wider and more aggressive looking

i'd sell my clio sport for a vxr anyday, if i could afford the insurance.

That was the point of my post, for a supermin/hot hatch they're not all that small, not by any means, they're fucking huge compared to old hot hatches and weigh far more. The bhp per tonne on a Corsa VXR is only about 160

I'm also a new car fan, I find old cars boring now personally. My MPS is enormous compared to my next door neighbours Punto. Her car fits in the parking space easily whereas mine overhangs

I also don't get the new cars being boring thing. Newer cars and bigger and heavier yes, but old cars look old - simple as.

Even top of the range old cars look pretty shocking nowadays - give me a new (fat) Corsa over an old (ugly) one any day

GSi had just overtaken it in that picture, it had better 'feedback' from the steering and steve says it had better seats.

-----------I KNOW THIS IS NOT IN ALL CASES -----------

but i feel people with older, cheaper cars call the new more expensive ones as they maybe cant afford them?

I use to be the same when i had a £1000 corsa; how i wouldnt have a newer car blah blah, but soon as i could, i did, and now i say how i couldnt see my self driving a old cheap car again (unless needs must)!

And when people say new cars are boring? They arent driving the right ones!
