Ford are underpowered true. But zetec engines are dead easy to tune, not badly priced either..
Day to day, i'd much rather have a zetec s compared to a clio. No matter what speed the clio is in comparison, it's still a gay or girls car. Forgive my opinion if it's offended you.

'Cos it's a clio..
Galaxy radio watch 'all fit girls drive clios'..
And i know a lad(gay) whos a hairdresser who drives one.. Very stereo typical i know but that's just my view on them.
I just prefer the fiesta, nothing to do with the fact i work for Ford.

girls drive ka's.
i work for ford too, and so does my dad and my grandad is now retired. combined service of at least 70 years, yet i still think the fiesta is a bit crud when comparing it to a clio 172.
the fiesta's rear arches rust like a cunt aswell.

Each to their own eh?
That's true they are prone to rust, but find a decent one with no rust and just underseal the arches shouldn't be much of a problem.

a 206 gti was on my list before i went for the clio 182 as i was wanting something a bit quicker but something that can be used as an every day motorway mile car. i done a little research and 9/10 the clio was rated better.
clios are for girls and ive seen more females drive them but anything from the 2.0 up is more for men and i say that because i havent seen any female drive one.
