Weekend of rain and wind thought better check the workshop out...
Marked the roof where the water is getting in to investigate further but a dramatic improvement over how it was, almost ready to plaster and board out.
Also my office wallpaper mural arrived, so laid it out to check it over...
Just need to move a light switch and plug socket and ready to decorate in there, been to buy my corner desk and dual LED monitors just need carpet and wallpaper for other walls and good to go.

Finally found time to get the office sorted lots of little bits and bobs took longer than thought and problems with wallpaper having marks on it.
Got the light switch and socket moved from the mural wall to beside the door frame, reskimmed the wall, lining paper on all walls to make sure they were all perfectly flat for papering.
Got two desks, just need to cut the top on one and fit that to the frame so its end to end desk, dual screen monitors one mainly for TV and fixing other peoples machines.
Sort desk, fit curtain rail, find curtains, plain the door and refit as new carpet it much thicker than previous.
Anyways photos:
Dual screens:
Shortend desk top still to cut (card template on top)
Finally the wall mural:

Tom, annoyed me also annoys me if you look at them in Ikea the matress fits perfectly!
My Dads been a builder / plasterer for over 40 years, so hes done some and also GF's dad likes to plaster so between them they have done most.
I've done some and its not as easy as it looks, getting it on is easy, getting it smooth is not so easy.
Cheers Fro, so far beds ok for squeaking!

If its going to be a focal point of the room I wouldnt do it, try somewhere first or even on a bit of plasterboard in garage!
Best tip is do not let your trowel go flat against the wall, don't be too scared of it, use a bit of force when flattening off.
Use board finish rather than multi finish, multi can often bleb with tiny air bubbles if playing with it too much when flattening off, board finish tends to be easier and still sticks to anything.

Can't take credit for all the plastering as either my Dad or GF's Dad has done that with my help (hindrance) but yeah do everything myself.
More satisfying and can take as much time as you like to get it spot on.

Next project...
This:
To one of the below, depending on planning:
Drawing plans up, to take to local council to see if planning is required, fingers crossed as its just an extension of existing and doesnt take over 50% of my garden up I can get away without.

Nothing exciting at moment Jon, just be for car cleaning and parking at moment, saving up for something a bit more exciting, just can't decide what, fancy a project, but then fancy a nice fast everyday car!
Once built, build new workshop and garden shed on back then redo garden.
