I dont think they would get through the amount of cars in a day we would have as last time i was there there was not the best organisation going on and although Bob is a realy nice guy he is a newby to dyno's and doesnt have the experience as TOTD.

I would sooner drive that little bit further and get a decent service.

My car ran the when i first got it 3 years ago and he turned me away after the first run as he said it was too lean and he didnt want to melt a piston. I went back 3 times after the map had been looked at and it was still the same.
I took the car to a place in Canterbury and was told that Vag cars normally run lean top end and they wernt concerned by this. 3 years later and the car is still ok and it has been ragged on track LOTS!

Benifit of the doubt and Dad took his corsa there this year and was told that his standard car was running lean

Only my experience. Bob as said is a nice bloke and very helpfull but i think he needs more experience before we set apon him with 30+ cars.

Very usefull information there and it would be good to see TOTD new premises. Also Chris Todd is a very experienced chap. My old man used to take his car to him when he was at Power Engineering years ago.

Also Graham you will only do a tank of fuel if you drive like you do at Lakeside

Maybe a poll would be usefull James/Will to guage opinion and stop Cole whining.

I'll be honest and say lets stick with TOTD because we all know what to expect and with rolling road days that IMO is vital.

They are starting to get to know as at TOTD and I think that is superb.

And I'm not happy with taking it to a RR day where the rolling road operator isn't all that experienced either.

i'm guessing they won't take a car with a noisy clutch bearing? may need to get it sorted at some point in my lifetime.

Subject to date, I may well make an appearance in the Mini actually - be good to get a standard figure before power mods commence

Ok, so still at least £45 in fuel, aswell as however much the RR day is? You can't say that's not alot of money

As I say, it was only a suggestion, and something in the Central of SE region would be a bit more convenient all round.
