If the police really wanted to they could fuck you over.
Phone will be remotely barred as soon as the shop realise.

I had to double check that this wasn't the same person.
Almost wrote a reply saying "If you would steal from your family then why not"

As I remember:
He was doing some work in a family memebers loft
Found a load of money (not sure it was in note form)
About 3500k iirc?
Split it with the lad doing the work with him
His excuse for doing it was that he was doign the work for family on the cheap...

I really would'nt post stuff like that on here every one enjoy's post's like this to much , this sort of thing is best kept to your self the CID on here will be all over it & to clear thing's up working for a big retail company it's more hassle reporting to the police ect then it would be just replacing the phone for the original customer would send a few email's ect to asking you to bring it back in but VERY MUCH doubt it would go any further as the poilice have bertter thing's to deal with and could'nt charge you for any thing be a waste of time for you & them

Anyone telling him he's a pikey or there abouts; I assume when you find £10 or £20 in the street you goto the police station and hand it in?

No, but it's the same principle. If a phone was found in the street, according to everyone calling him a pikey, they would look for "home" or "mum" or similar and arrange a collection?
Sure it's the right thing to do but when you've been on the receiving end of this or a similar situation I'm sure most people would think otherwise.

Found a phone in a bar in town and handed it in. Lost or had my phone stolen in the same bar and no one handed it in. karma eh
Saying that £20 on the floor would be straight in my wallet!
