It catchs coming off of my drive, still not sure if I should keep it or go for something different.

As for pics I don't have a digi cam unfortunatly. But if Trotty wants to give me a ring and meet me up for a photoshoot I might be able to "hint hint"

Your car looks spot on as it is nice and subtle mods really like it. So keep up the good work

I love that kit, will have to save a little extra to get it fitted straight away, with some nice 15" rims, deep dish, really low.

not many mods, tints all round, black lenses on the side repeaters, and some smoked tail lights. See a theme?

If you think you can pay £5500-£6000 on a second hand car, and then get 0% finance, your very nieve. The 0% finance will be on a brand new car only.

Also you mentioned that tuning the 1.4 will be easier than tuning the 1.2. Wrong im afraid. The 1.4 in the new corsas is the Z14XE, not the C/X14XE. Becuase if this, the best mod (SBD throttles) isnt available for it. Dbillas throttles are available, but give pretty much the same gains as a decent inlet manifold (both about 20 max)... but that'd also be from Dbillas.

insurance in the uk is a gift - I'm 27 with a full license since 17 and 5years ncb - I'm paying 1200 euro comp on a 01 Corsa 1.2 16v !!!

The new corsa's are a nice motor to drive but mines two years old with 18k on it and I reckon I'll only get 25k miles before it collapses

lucky you mate - mine is off to the garage tomorrow to get the gear selector sorted (won't go into 1st or second with aggro) and the rear bumper removed to fit a new foglight - mate backed into me with hisd golf - scraped my bumper and broke the light - not a mark on the golf
This is all two weeks after fitting the 3rd set of brake pads in 18k miles...

Looks like we've found the sole reason for the high insurance prices in NI

Dunno about that mate ! Trying to curb the awesome power of the 1.2 16v has to eat through brake pads !!
I'm from the Republic - I think insurance down here is probably dearer than NI

Well regarding the 0% finance, I could afford to get a more expensive brand new car at 0% instead of paying full whack for the second hand one without finance.

Also regarding the tuning, it always turns out that the lowest that big performance mods go is around 1.4l so it would make sense for the new engines to be highly moddable at about the 1.4 SRi.

Dont really see companies dropping as low as the 1.2 16V for big engine mods.
