Android is a nice idea, but the fact that Google allows anyone to do whatever they fuck they want with it means that there is mas fragmentation and 4 'app stores'. You're also getting phones that will only run certain versions of it and this makes the Flash argument null and void because relatively few Android handsets will do it without pissing about, which is no better than Jailbreaking.

i love these threads. i went from winmo, to bb, to iphone. was convinced to get a blackberry over the iphone and regretted it. my iphones the only phone ive ever had where ive not been shopping around for upgrade time. its a nobrainer for me, at the end of my contract ill upgrade to the current iphone without a second thought.
with personal experience of all the current os's, apples is by far the best for speed, reliability and ease of use.

with regards to how things look, just like everything else i own id rather have something that looks good. i buy designer clothes etc, yeah you could get something that does the job for a lot less but it doesnt look as good

Threads like this are going to be obsolete when the Windows Phone 7 platform comes out. You'll get the freedom of Android for devs and the protection of Apple for the users. Lets hope someone makes some tasty hardware for it

Kerry has n iPad, its awesome, but my only criticism of it is that it's too personal. It's set up for her use, much like an iPhone is set up for the owners use. If that makes any sense :E
