The thing about these cars is that they are built over years so the value is built up over x amount of years. I'm sure if chris had 20k up front he wouldn't build a corsa? So it may seem a lot for 7k total for what you get but if your looking to do the same thing it will cost a lot more. If you had the money you spent modding a car like this at the begining you generally would get something as a base.

small market for the car as a whole, big market for all the parts.

its the sort of car a person wants to build themselves, they evolve over time

i wouldn't think of it as what its worth, but what you would be happy with getting for it.

best offer could be £4k, but a year later someone might offer £8k. Imo it all depends how much time you have to sell it and waiting for a willing buyer

If its any justification, my mate sold his J reg Honda Civic of what seems quite a lesser spec for £5800...

It was 400BHP and ran a 12.1 @ POD.

TEIN coilovers, Buddy Club wheels, LSD etc etc

Full interior too.

To be fair to John this is a long way off anything he understands from wikipedia searches. Intact most the spec of the car will be beyond comprehension for most that see it as just a corsa.

It really is a bargin.

But I was talking to a bloke that is big into drag racing, but with yank stuff. I said about Dale's 12.9 and he said fairplay, but it's a Corsa, Corsa's are shit. I think he's got something like a 10k engine, and does 11s with slicks

But it really is a mint Dodge Charger, and they are well over 20k

Irrelevent in the way it's a different make yes. But most certainly not when comparing two common hatchbacks which have been modified.

overpriced, i wouldnt even give you 5k for it. its a corsa with a amazing engine and some bits cut out. if you offered me a swap, that for my civic id say no. in bits however it will be worth a small fortune
