Costco sell both a big roll of flooring and tiles, don't think the tiles are in just now though.

still about £30 psqm. So aprox £1200 just for the plastic tiles!
Not wanting to spend more than 5-600 really. Need to buy lift, cabinets etc.... Dont have an endless budget.

So maybe you need to consider something else.

not read it all but has paint been suggested?
just mask it off and paint, will be cheapest by quite a margin

starting to think this will be the best option. I'm a tight bastard and cannot bring myself to pay 1k for a garage floor

Sometimes I really hope these guys are taking the piss
Gazzillion quid for a car wash but using 10 quid work-stand and a cheapo black and decker jigsaw? Loving the kneeling pad too, dont want to hurt those poor wee knee's

I dont get it.
Whats wrong with the knee pad?
Whats wrong with the work bench - its fit for purpose and looks to be doing just fine
Whats wrong with the jigsaw - it seems to cut well enough
Whats the point in paying over the odds? Should they waste money because idiots think its cool to give them lots of money for cleaning cars?

that is the worst comeback ever
What the hell does a work bench, jigsaw and knee pad have to do with bucket?
They use two buckets to get better results washing cars (i can see why they do it - dirty bucket, clean bucket etc)
I doubt they use the cheapo jigsaw to buff up the ferrari's bonnet or use the work bench as a jack
Why on earth would they on spend big on items they very rarely use, and not in a fashion that relates to their everyday business!

Desk job?
My pants have knee pads in them. Nowt wrong with that.
Im sure you'd have one if you spent hours kneeling down.
I admire the detailing guys. I did it for a bit but didnt have the patience for it.
