Why would you buy a rare coloured one over any other M3??
Looking at it,i wouldnt think it was a rare colour.Looks similar to that burgandy colour that came on the non ///M E36's.

Because I like rare cars! Plus it's nicer than most of the standard colours. Champagne leather is my fave interior colour on them and being an individual they specced the half leather dash which is silly rare.
Can't see why you wouldn't understand that tbh?

TBH,its not really that nice a colour though IMO.
I just dont understand the appeal of rare coloured cars except for e-points or the likes.Maybe if it was a rare car as a whole i would understand.
If you like it,buy it.

My Gosh
There is a huge difference between a nice standard well kept M3 and a 318 badged up as a M3 with halfords tak all over it.
Also the individual colours are funnily enough individual, alot of people prefer the colours and not only that they like the fact that not every other tom dick and harry M3 owners has the same colour!

Pretentious in what way? How the hell is 325 bhp Straight 6 pretentious? It did cost north of 40K 10 years ago!

I really don't like the e36 shape m3. There are a load of them up my way and most are very ropey looking. I think they just look really dated.
The e46 is a much better looking m3 IMO

E46 is dated now too tbh
E36 is knocking on retro now, I like them but can understand why people wouldn't like the shape acquired taste.
