Dave, this was a 1.6 I never had a chance against so chances are once turned into a LET even though I'll be sporting a 1.6, it's likely to be a similar story, driver dependent obviously

But you're up there with OJC and Paul J, Mike, you can do it.
If it would help, we could do a training montage.

I couldn't catch Paul with 125 brake, he's slightly quicker than me.
I would guess me and Mike will meet at some point now
And yes, prepped LET will be well away driven properly.

It's technically OJC's fault that the 1.2 is dying, I spotted him going out in the 1.3 so decided to go after him and see what was what but he got let out about a minute before me then I crashed on the second lap so didn't get chance

It was one battle I really wanted to have as well, I've never come up against anything under a 1.6 before but you're a more experienced track driver than anyone else I've overtook (that i know of) so it could've been interesting

it's all about how a confident a driver you are knowing exactly how a car handles, reacts, and exactly what the car is capable of, limits and what it will do if you do something; can get the most out of what is basically a very under powered car compared to the majority of cars on a regular track day.
I did rag the arse of it, always driving at more than 100%, but always in the knowledge of what it was capable of. And it coped fine.
Make sure robbie when it's done you do bring it down to combe. And I want the first passenger ride!

I was the same in my corsa around donnington. Keeping up with a saxo vts on the lap times, only due to me knowing the car and driving at 100% around the bends. On the straights he pulled away but then underbraking/cornering i would catch right up.
