Just had a quick look and its down to 3k and is 1 of 31 that came to the UK.
Have to admit it does look awesome in that colour, and with the Turini's etc.But its over-priced.

If it's a rare colour it will command a premium! Liquid yellows go for silly money I paid over the odds of a regular 182 for mine. Could be called stupid by some but mine hasn't depreciated as fast as the other colours.
Silver 182s are stupidly cheap.
Fez I actually like the ph1rears! Paint the inside of your headlights black don't know if you have seen the one on CS with that done (French guy) very cool

For someone like me it was perfect, the best compromise for road and track. They handle fantastically well and they are quicker than other 172s. Id always feel handicapped in a full fat.
Are you being serious? If they are quicker there is no way you would feel it on either the road or track. All marketing bullshit TBH
Im completely serious. 100kg is a lot in a car so light, more weight than a passenger. The car is quicker in a straight line and handles better, the cup suspension is stiffer and it is more chuckable. As Jambo said its a very rewarding the drive, the chassis is fantastic, a true drivers car in my opinion. Anyone who thinks its boring or says there is no difference hasnt driven one on the absolute limit, and I have.

The gearbox is too big to fit into the clio bay, and dont think there is room for the turbo ect. Iirc

totally agree, thats hell of alot of weight difference. My friend has got a 182ff and my ph1 leaves him at a tidy pace.

My Cup is a pure weekend toy, i do less than 5k a year in it and it can go 2-3 weeks without being driven.
Im glad i went for the cup as the regular 172s are no more money, i dont understand how the 0-60 can be described as 'boring', mine is the most fun car ive ever had, and ive owned a fair variety! The standard handling is superb, and acceleration is quite surprising too.
But if i was using it as a daily, i would have gone for a 182 FF but probably wouldnt have gone for a clio at all if i was doing alot of miles, theyre not the most luxurious and relaxing to drive but when thrashing it down b-roads those points are at the bottom of the list!
Drive a few before you decide, get on Cliosport and see whos local to you, someone bound to give you a look / ride in theirs.

I don't see how they are underestimated, imo it's the exact opposite, they get bummed everywhere.

Even the front window glass is thinner on the Cup just to shave a bit off!
Theres quite a few differences, no A/C, ABS, electrical bits and bobs, fancy seats, the Turinis save a fair bit aswell.

That 182ff is mapped and mine isn't, and he's got the same engine mods as mine. Just ive got a 2.5" exhaust system all the way, and he's got a 2 1/4". So he had the upper hand with a map and raised limiter.
