I dont want to scratch my glass so i just leave the snow on the windows too. Heaters sort it out eventually, until then i just drive around with my head out the drivers window.

Problem?

I use the warmth of my breath to defrost all the snow on my car. You might want to try it?

I had to drive to work at 3am this morning and it had been snowing previously.
Had to make my own tracks in the road/snow.Was pretty dangerous tbh.

Can i sue the council for not getting the snow plows out??

Oh and i left the snow on the roof and side windows.Was quite a fun drive too.The handbrake kept sticking on.

I did it this morning, was fine. Snow was still there after an hours journey. Mostly due to the fact that when people see snow, even if it isnt on the road anymore they must drive at 7mph.

Within a few mins of driving to work at 30mph this monring my snow covered bonnet and roof were clear.

seen a lorry today with a good 8 inches of snow on the roof, surely alot more dangerous than a little snow on a wee car

Prehaps you should have a go at Key Stage 2 to improve your basic reading skills. If you look on the next page I clearly state that 70 was an exaggeration.

no, i believe in winter time, chuck norris and anything he owns within a radius of him is actually colder than any snow/ice, so the snow never lands on his stuff, it simply stops in mid air, frozen by chuck

while my fella was trying to dig busses out last night, a copper pulled up at the hide of him, so after me telling my fella about this with the snow on roof, he asked the copper about it, an the copper had heard nothing about it, he said its a load of crap

I went driving last night and a huge amount fell on my wind screen, it covered the whole window but luckily the wiper managed to clear it but I could imagine a lot wouldn't.

If they go out on a normal day I've got no idea how many people they catch speeding but let's say ballpark figure about 10-20 being generous. Now imagine how many people they would come across with snow all over their cars when the weather's like this? They'd be constantly stopping people just to slap their wrist which as far as they're concerned isn't exactly cost effective.

I'll agree if I was in the position where I was in a rush to get somewhere and got slapped with 3 points and a fine for a bit of snow I'd be pissed off. But if people hear 'the police are making sure people are clearing snow off their cars' or 'the police are handing out fines for people not clearing snow off cars' I know which one will cause them to actually do it.
