I seen it in the pound shop so bought a tin, it clears my windscreen what it does to the paint I could care less about tbh but there's no visible effect.

If I had a decent car I'd probably change my opinion.

You're the type of guy that would go out and treat your windows at night so give that a bash. 3 parts vinegar to 1 part water sprayed over the windscreen.

heated screens work for me as does a garage, but if your concered about damage i would stil to body temp water

Your not covering your paint in it though? You spray your windscreen and it dissolves the ice and scrape it off, ice / deicer gets wiped away with wipers or scraped off

been using deicder for 6 years , both aerosol and spray and never ever had any problems with it ruining my paint, i reckon one morning i used about half a can aswell as i was in a rush.

I'm not really bothered about the paint on my works van that does moon miles

What makes me chuckle is people who put news paper on their windows

i snapped my national insurance card de-icing my window this morning, only had it since i was 16

I just sit in the car revving the nuts off it to warm it up quicker and let it de-frost itself.
