well hes wrong, theres not alot of difference in weight between a corsa and an astra gte,so a type r would not exactly hammer that if beat it at all.

really?corsa weighs around 1000kgs maybe a little more with the red top in,astra gte 1030kgs.

a corsa xe will beat a ctr so an astra gte should easily keep up.

I raced an ST in my xe and wasn't to impressed it took him ages to get past but he won. It's a known fact everyone on Corsasport hates corsas so not much point it posting threads like this because you will ALWAYS get flamed.

i think an st would beat a corsa xe,just because of the torque, dont think there would be a lot in it until around 80 though.

no one is flaming anyone...fair enough if the XE had a tidy spec, but people put high millage standard XE engines in whatever car and expect to beat a new, fresh engine performance car.
Imo a standard XE corsa is on par with a clio williams. Power to weight and all that...

are you fucking retarded? Its a 200bhp 2.0L standard, and is one of the best fwd handling cars you can buy...and your telling me it's not a hot hatch. You should leave before you get flamed for being such a dull cunt.

its not a performance car! its a weak hot hatch.
so what its got 200bhp,that don't make it a performance car.

stop being a fanboy and trying to comment when you know fuck all.

have you actually owned/driven any of the cars mentioned?
