tbh it doesn't really make sense. I'd rather have 4 bolts torqued fully than 3.

im saying you shouldnt have 2 sets, because of even torque load, and the fact you cant torque these up to the same level as normal bolts, because of the diffrence in materials

obviously but if you have a set of locking wheel nuts on your car (like 90% of people do to stop people stealing wheels) then your torque settings would be imbalanced

the point is you arent meant to have the locking one fully torqued, therefore leaving 3 full torque and one not, making an uneven spread.
therefore you have two locking so at least they are torqued up correctly in opposite pairs

I torque my locking one's up to 110nm the same as the rest of them.
