The wheels are standard fitment so stuck with them for the time being.

Its an Irish plate thats on it, it'll changed over to my private one when the tax disc comes through.

wtf is the 1.2 badge?

i do like these cars, people say a vauxhall is better value etc, but once your around the golf you know its superior

Not keen on the R, the R32 badge or the pointless 1.2 badge, but the rest looks very smart

All the badging looks a bit tacky imo, the 1.2 is diabolical.

I like the blacked out look, it would look out of place the front all black with this big chrome VW sticking out lol

I'd prefer the standard silver VW badges front and back. Loose the 1.2 and it's spot on.

The R32 on the front should just be normal chrome, the R badge on the back is the least offensive of the 3 But still should be ditched imo

Anything but standard badges almost always looks shit(this is a perfect example), some cars get away with black, don't think it suits here with silver wheels.

Standard or debadged.

The car deffo wont be turbo'd lol

So the general consensus is that ditch all badges and replace with the standard items???

Maybe the R32 badges need to be standard but the VW emblems will deffo be staying black.
