Oh, we were talking about it today and most thought Poulsen deal was already arranged!
Aquaman looked good when playing for liverpool, but only in small amounts. There were always glimpses of what he could do

No, there were rumours about Poulsen about 2 years earlier but contact was never made. Aquilani was unfortunate in his time with us, the pressure of being an injured signing, rafa was cautious in how he used him (he was always brought back in to the team too early at Roma and therefore suffered other injuries as a consequence) which was too late in the season to make a big impact anyway, but he was classy when he played if a little lightweight. He should have been given a fair crack of the whip this season though, he didn't want to go on loan, roy talked him up etc then he was sent off to juve with no real explanaition, just a few rumours of him being a lazy trainer and/or we needed to save on wages.
