Danny,the guys that build some of these like that Mk2 Golf etc,where do they get all the tiny wee parts and stuff for them??

Just on eBay mate, 1:18 parts or Diorama etc. People split cars and stick the seperate parts up. That Streetfighter guy makes an absolute fortune doing it.

Oh right so its no actual custom made parts that he has sat and built up with his bare hands etc??All the wee seats etc are readily available.

How big is a 1:18 scale car actually??

no mate all the parts come off other models, although you can occasionally get parts not painted etc and you do it yourself.

It depends as each model is 1:18 of the real thing so a 1:18 BMW 5 series is obviously going to be bigger than a 1:18 Peugeot 205, but they will be the same next to each other in model size as they would be parked next to each other in real life.

I'm watching 4 Audi A4 touring cars at the minute, I expect them to go for a fair bit though. I've never seen a 1:18 Cavalier, lots of Calibras and the occasional Omega pop up though.

Just found the a4 I want. I had a tamiya r/c car the same so after seeing this I may bid.It will go up in price for definate.

I'll probably sell that Evo 7 for a profit and get 2 cars bought with the money from it, Im much more interested in collecting motorsport related cars, although there will be certain road going cars that I'll buy.
