BluKoo, just give this guy a huge fright as you're giving him the cash and he might pop his clogs. Claim to people that you gave him the cash beforehand and he buried it in the garden or some crazy OAP shit like that, et voila you've got yourself a car. Take a knife in case he doesn't go down with the fright though

just treat him like anyone else, old people aren't as vulnerable as they make out.

when haggling use £25 drops instead of £50

if its up for £2400, i'd say would you accept £2000, he will say no, he will probably say £2300 if he's a normal man, to which you would move to £2175, leaving him either £2200 or £2250 if he is bang on it

i would try for £2200 realistically.

i knocked £500 of the corrado in one ask

Looks like I got this guy all wrong.

He's only selling the car as he's bought himself a new S3 Quality 90 year old dude

The car was described as immaculate in the paper, but there was the odd ding and bit of flakey paint where the plastics had flexed from a small impact, but other than that it was good. Interior is in very good nick for an 11 year old car.

Got him down to £1900 Plus I got his private plate worth £500-600 .

Overall, quite happy.

Not at the moment. I'm gonna see how economical it really is.

I know these current MPG guages aren't the most accurate in the world, but its alarming to see single figures at time to time lol.

Well, he's 89, but he told me he's 90 this year. He still has a handicap of 15 at golf.

The plate is just his initials, nothing special, but i've seen others similar advertised for around £800.

He looked like an old man, but no walking stick or anything. Still able to get about nae bother at all.
I guess he's just looked after himself.

How many miles has it done? That interior looks mint! They usually start to look pretty ruined after 90k or so I find

Looks a bit dated exterior wise, but bargain barge

There's only 44k on it, so feels almost brand new inside.

Its only been a few hours but i'm liking VAG quality already.

looks like a nice car actually good colour.

i swear car seats are only ruined by fat people, my corrado seats are fine after 200k and all the owners have been slim

It would be so much nicer with a decent set of wheels. RS6's would be my first choice.

It sounds really nice too. I reckon an aftermarket exhaust could be on the cards when this one fails.

Yeah, it'll get washed more than the honda and i'm going to try and keep the interior as immaculate as possible. In my opinion, thats one of the best parts of the car.

I'm taking it out to my brother either tomorrow or sunday to see what he's get to help protect the alcantara.

19s might be a bit too much. I'd be going for 18s and only after all threat of winter has gone.

Edit: I might see if I can steal my dads wheels off the turbo...
