Was an awesome day.Got my crail face on.Only really noticed when i got home,wish i put some sun cream on.
Barnes' Corsa looked to be going well.Think he got into the shootouts but don't know how he got on as we left before then.Seen him do a run against Alan Duthie's Corsa and he got tanked.

Yeah Nic.
Don't know what power the other 1 was running.Engine used to be in a Blue Mk1 Nova,done the rounds at Crail for a few years and think it done TOTB too.Was a cpl car lengths in front of Nic.Think it got off the line better but still had enough power to hold it to the end.
Both cars looked to be weapons though.Standing at the start,they don't look so quick,but watch them from half way along and you can really see them building up the speed and appreciate how quick they are.

Nics was on the rollers the other day and made 513 so the other Corsa must be a monster, unless he got a better start like you say. Nic had full slicks on the front too I think.
edit. Just seen he was shootout out champion in class2.

Saw nics do a few runs, was a big queue though so did t wait for him to come back round. Got 1 vid of it, nic wasnt driving though. Start was just wheelspin, half way up the strip it seemed to take a wiggle and go like fuck. Prbly 3rd or something

Times are up on facebook and the blue corsa was doing better times than Nic.

alan duthies corsa is meant to be around the 540hp mark, aparently it wasnt running proper due to a crack in the inlet manifold.

That Evo was doin runs all day, 12's and see it cracked an 11. Some launch it had, and didnt see it break once

my mates scooby was running 13.8's
my mates golf 1.4 tfsi was running 15.4's
and my mates diesel astra was running 16's
I was to scared of blowing up the vxr so didnt take it on lol will do next month once i go up for a thrash day.

Take it you never seen its 2nd run then??When it bogged down when he came out of 1st and it started shooting 6foot flames and pishing out black smoke.Tbh it looked like that was game over,but naw,he was back out 30mins later and it was tearing up the strip.Launched like nothing else.

My mates Mk5 Astravan cracked the 15s.CDTi 150 with a tuning box.
