AOC is a funny forum I think, sometimes you can get a really helpful reply, and then other times, you won't get a single reply. I tend to use it for the classifieds.

Ibiza or Leon? They are all fucking sheep on SCN too, no one ever tries to do anything different.

Edit, agreed that Audisport has shed loads of info on there and some knowledgeable people, just the layout and organisation is wank and they all think Badger5 is god

Just intense bickering about what's best a 172 a 172 cup or a 182 or 182 ff etc etc etc. They all hate the 197 (unless it's grey ) they also hate the 200.
The forum is the most over moderated thing I've ever seen, I am still yet to figure out what the point of "Clio discussion" is, because what ever you post in there it will get either locked, deleted or moved to a sub sub sub forum. Of which I'm sure there is one for screws.
It's crap.

Yes, always shit websites.

Hence

www.allsorts-crew.co.uk

I saw them down Lakeside on Saturday, bunch of weirdos in shit cars wearing wesbite specific clothing thinking they were part of something special. I checked out the website and nobody has posted on it.

The one I thought that looked like the owner of the site deffo had skidmarks in his pants, looked the sort.

Posting Etiquette

Step 1: Search and Research
First, search to see if anyone has posted the same question or item. If you have a question, search for relevant keywords. (It helps to restrict your search to the relevant forum.) Do a general web search for the problem, too — you're probably not the first person to encounter it.

It's funnier with that site though because there are no posts.

Seatcupra.net is the same.

I wanted to ask about a new clutch and exhaust today but I will just get people saying "use the search", even though it will probably bring up details on parts that only existed in 2006

EDIT - fuck it, I'm gonna ask the question and see what responses I get

From that allsorts crew site :

Spotted and Flyered
Have you ever spotted a Car and wondered who owned it and if they were a member of a club? Well if the answer is yes then this section if for you.
- Create a post saying something like:

Title: Black 3dr MR2 in Dartford Spotted
Text Inside:.

Where: Going in 2 ASDA about 7:20
Registration: A123ABC
Colour: Black
Make:Toyota
Model: MR2
What did it look like: lowed with 17" alloys, full body kit etc...

The Flyered bit
This is simple. Attached you will find a flyer that you can print out and place on other cars which you think should be part of the club. The reason we are running this is to increase the members and popularity of the club.

You have to be kidding right ?

BTTOS. Cunt, paedophile, I'll rape your kids, I'll murder you... Repeat to fade

Celica.net used to be awesome, now utterly dead. Was a total free for all with thousands of members, then the owner sold it to someone who wanted to make a mint and he wrecked it. So the forum admins scorched the earth and we all departed

I now mostly frequent here, PH, trackscotland, gt4oc and a few others.

If we all used the search function on everything then places would be a lot less busier.
For example, if people searched 106gti vs xe corsa on here the chances are CS would go into liquidation.

I also love the forums where it must be a NASA trained technician who maintains your car, couldn't possibly be done by someone with a set of spanners.
