testing out the blue colour

and going to rebuild this lambo, also going to paint it blue for some practice and to see what laquer is best

what you need on those wheels is a 50/50 mix of matt or satin black mixed with white spirit, dipped a cottom pad into it and wash it over the wheel, then wipe off but will leave the black in the recesses

i wash going to ask for some technique, i have revell thinners, which is probably just expensive white spirit in a fancy bottle tbh.

what is this about brake fluid i keep seeing, does it get rid of all paint and not melt the plastic.

so if i cock them up i can do this?

Dear Steve

I have ruined the lambo, i tried to spray it matt black, and the paint kinda shrunk when it dried, leaving cracks and the blue showing through.

i put the model in brake fluid and left it over night, but its not taking the paint off very well and that was £7.99 worth of brake fluid.

What should i do.
