Used to hate silver but over the past year or so iv started taking a real liking to the colour. I've been saying for a while that i think silver will be the next 'cool' thing for cars but it still isnt happening
IMO looks good on sports/prestigous cars but boring on standard looking cars.

Silver on the right car does look good, prepped, polished and treated with the right LSP can look good too - annoys me when people say you can't make silver look shiny - you're just crap at cleaning cars!
I'd probably also get bored of silver if I had to look out at a forecourt of them everyday though Tom! Both yours and car sales forecourts lol
I know that if it was black it would look far worse
I was just trying to state that when they are dirty they dont look clean! You can still see it all, and after only a few miles I can see the dirt with just a quick look on that 307!
I do love the wet look you can achieve on silver though That is a plus! With the right LSP it can look like glass

Silver suits mine imo. Bit boring tho. Wanted Ice White or Lava Grey really. Soooo glad I didn't get white now tho with the mileage I do. Silver hides dirt

bit non discript for me
Prefer bold colours - white or red
Prefer silver to black though - never own a black car again in my life
Some slivers are nice though like AVUS silver I had on the TT but to me thats not a true silver as it had blue tint to it

Rich can you recommend any products to clean a silver car?
Mines a star silver Astra. I'm currently using AG SRP and that Werkstat Jett Sealent spray thing. Just ran out of the Jett spray actually.
The problem with silver I find is the colour isn't indicative to reflection. Well not as reflective as black say.

I'm with Tom, hate silver. Can suit certain cars though but they are few and far between.
