at the end of the day Carroll is only just coming back from injury and isn't fully match fit.
Fit enough to start 2 games in a row for your lot though
Not fully match fit though and you can tell if you monitor his performance closely.

I could understand if he ha just come back from injury and hadn't even played for you yet.
EDIT He played a FULL European match.... if he is fit enough to do that he is fit enough to play a full Euro qualifie & friendly

I dont think he is a big loss anyway. Crouch is there if they want to play the long ball game and he is proven at international level.

He only completed 90 against Braga out of necessity because we desperately needed a goal, Didn't work mind . Wouldnt say he is fit enough to complete a full 90 so surely that isnt fully match fit?

Isnt it all part of Capellos 'rebuilding' plan of bringing in younger players and still calling up the same old ones time again.

but the game is a week away so he has another weke to get fit
Also, players DO get paid for playing for their countries
And injuries are shit for sure, we constantly lose players to injuries in intls to the poitn where im hoping wenger does a liverpool and lists all our players as injured (which they basically are anyway lol) as we cannot possibly lose any more key players! BUT its a risk of playign for your country, they are no more likely to happen then as they are in say a meaningless CC match etc

I have no idea how you have come to that conclusion that statement isn't logical.

i dont need too, i watched take it like a fan when they went to the 2011 carling cup final that Arsenal lost, they interviewed the kitman, he said the captain chooses and Cesc is a fan of short sleeves, and certain players wear long sleeves rolled up as they despise short sleeves.
