Dom, i said little to no battery and this morning proved i used no battery. Why would i bullshit, am i the only one in the world with an iphone.
But it doesn't use "no battery" though; 'little' yes, 'no battery', no.....
It used no battery in the time i didnt need to use it so 'yes' it used no battery.
If the iPhone used "no battery" then it would be off/shutdown. Using 'airplane' mode does not shut the phone down, therefore it must have used power. So you saying the phone used "no battery" is a load of ball. Simples.
Who said it shuts the power down? No one.
If i went to sleep at 10pm on 10% battery and woke up at 6.20am with 10% battery how much battery power did i use, dom?

But if you left it over night you'd have 100%. 100% is better than 70%......

And if you read what i previously said you would see why i dont leave it over night. Simples

If it used no power it would be off. If it's on there has to be a current going through it running the clock, date, screen OS etc. As Dom says it uses a lot less power but not 0power.
The battery meter probably isn't even that accurate.

Obviously the meter doesnt have decimal places but it remained the same.
Also if you leave a phone off for a good while it also uses power. Old phones ive tried turning on needed charged

The iPhone used an amount that the it can't accuratly measure, so that much. Either way, this is all lower school science and you are failing to grasp that even in "airplane" mode the phone is still drawing power therefore saying it used "no battery", ie: nothing, is a load of guff.
You were however right when you said, it used "little" battery, so you can have a gold star -

And all that actually tells you is the iPhone is inaccurate in reporting battery usage. Either way, i'm right, you're wrong, give up!

I didnt measure it in precise 0.03% etc etc. I done it as per the bar at the top right hand corner which according to THAT, used no %. Thats all there is to it.

No, it's ironic that you believe you know what you're talking about when the last few pages of this thread just highlights the fact that you can't grasp simple lower school physics.

And by your maths, if I were to get on a set of scales that only measured at 1 tonne intervals; I'd weigh nothing as the indicator wouldn't move.

Dom, what am talking about is pure and simple.
I start with a number and finish with the same number by turning on airplane mode.
If i started with the same number and didnt have airplane mode on i would be down.
Thats how simple it is. I wasnt going into more detail because all i was basing it on was the bar at the top right where you on the otherhand seem to think this is a fucking nasa mission. Its pure and simple, you save battery with airplane mode on and the bar doesnt decrease in numbers for hours.
