120 miles per week (4 x 30mile round trips). Costs me about £30-£35 in petrol ATM and £12 in toll costs.

I thought I was bad with £60 in petrola week. £520 a month is a large chunk or wage to be spending just commuting, I'd be tempted to relocate closer and put the £520 towards rent or something.

Is that in your Cupra? I assume that is mostly motorway if it is. Mine is more 'urban' than combined and my MPG must be around 20-25

15 mins drive to head office.
30 mins drive to office i work at.
as soon as i get in start work. finish at 5.30
then 30+ mins drive back to head office (depending on traffic).
15 mins drive back home.

All in all around 47.3 miles, may not sound a lot but it does take it out of you.

I'm moving soon which will result in no driving/parking and cheaper train tickets which should save me around £200 a month.

I need to get me a bike

The annoying thing is getting the train and therefore using public transport 'saving the environment' won't save me any money.

Depending on where I sleep its 60 -70 miles per day; currently using £70 of fuel every 12/13 days including personal mileage.

This week though, I've had to drive to and from Southampton yesterday and tomorrow so a nice 400miles round trip twice a week for the forseeable future!! Only fortunate thing with that is 45p per mile
