To those saying its after Tokyo drift, both fast and furious and fast 5 are before Tokyo drift and I will give 3 points as to why!

1.) near start of fast and furious after the tanker rolling scene, Han says to Dom, (I've heard they are doing some mad things over in tokyo! Think I might go check it out).

2.) in fast 5 (which I saw tonight) at the end Han says to the woman from 4th one (I fancy going to Madrid!) her response is (thought you wanted to go to Tokyo) he finishes by saying (plenty of time to get to Tokyo, we'll get there eventually).

3.) at the end of Tokyo drift when Dom races the other lad he says (Han was a close friend).

This is why Tokyo drift is afterwards!

Are you saying he has a gtr so it can't be before Tokyo drift (as in the gtr wasn't out to the public then??)

If you are then explain why in James bond casino royale (which is meant to be the original one, but came several years after goldfinger etc) does he drive an Aston Martin db9 or vanquish or which ever one it is!

Just because it was made after doesn't mean they can't use newer cars and have it set before!

I said the gtr was out after tokyo drift but it DIDNT say it cant be the film before tokyo because of this.

The order is the first released one, then 2fast 2furious, then number 4 (fast and furious) then fast 5 then Tokyo drift!

I beg to differ.
It goes 4th one first, then 2fast2furious, then tokyo drift, then 5th one, then 1st one mate.

Basically they all meet at the start of the 4th film... that's why leni aint in it much. Then when they go through the mountain, they come out the other side in miami which is where the 2nd film takes place and when they jump off the pier onto the boat it knocks the world off it's axis slightly, so the camera crew ends up in Tokyo - which is where the 3rd film is filmed. Han dies, but since he is jesus christ he is resurrected for the 5th film. Finally with all the money they've made they go to LA and thats the scene for the 1st film. Brian fulfills his dream of becoming a cop and the rock has a cameo part as the pizza delivery boy.

why do people get so worked up by the continuity in this film? also i am already eagerly anticipating the 6th film now, it's turning into an alright film franchise especially now it isn't so centre'd around the street racing scene.
