tonights update:

looks the gearbox is furked along with passanger side driveshaft

driveshaft snapped, then when i was being towed9(1.30 am ) the driveshaft snapped off all together leaving part of it still inside the gear box and the other half completley fell off.

How come the box is fucked ?? can u not jus replace the shaft and the 2 cv joints ??

Il upload a picture. The shaft kept jamming when I was being towed. Went to turn right at hebburn college ( barnseys) and the car completely jammed and the shaft snapped off. There's still shaft stuck inside of the box. If I can't get it out I'm need a new box aswell

The end left in the gearbox should just come out as normal Dan, same thing happened to mine last year and it was fine in the end luckily.

Cars looking great though mate, loving the painted trim and wheels, its going to look dead smart

the car has just been crashed into

greggs lorry was reversing up a backlane and twatted the back of my car. lets just say the fresh paint on the back end is no good. needs a respray on the back bumper and new foglight.

cheecky bastard tried to drive away, my mother in law seen him and told him it was my car.
he was pretty scared and begged me not to go through insurance. he offered me £500.

im just sick havnt had much luck with this yet

im gunna nip to the bodyshop when i have time see if he can sqeeze me in.

ifso il get the driveshaft fitted, tyres fitted softstars on, rear bumper re painted.

attend pvs

future plans:
after attending pvs i might sorn it and put it my garage and save for a z20let or leh.
this will more than likely take a while due to the gf being pregnant so im on the look out for a cheap reliable car pref 5 door

i may even buy facelift bumpers, smooth them and do them the same colour as the trim. havnt seen a c like that yet

No he begged me not to go through insurance and I Sai why not iv just spent 500 onit in which he replied il drop it off tomorrow morning.

Dont worry ibhave photos of the van beside the car and of damage. Have his details reg etc so I will take it through greggs if need be

I hope you didnt just take his word for it he will drop the £500 off in the morning.

Use £250 to get bumper done with change left over, and £250 to put towards the mechanical repairs.

Went down to the bodyshop. Hel said hel sort it out on saturday. So rear bumper repainted/repaired bonnet repainted and de rub stripped

Also softstars have been dropped off for tyres fitted. Just praying they don't get scratched

Softstars are back unscratched picking up a driveshaft and rear fog lense from a local vauxhall breakers tomorrow. Fingers crossed it will be sorted this week
