it was in the paper yesterday that the price of oil dipped under $100 a barrel on thursday.

not sure whether it's shot back up? but if it stays like that for a while then we should start seeing price drops.

petrol has been rising steadily for months now. every week i fill up my car and it's always going up 1p every time.

What you say is mostly correct, but it has gone down before, by a good 25% (2009), it theoritically could happen to avoid a major civil unrest.

It's about twice the price it was in 2009 here tbh.

Do your parents ever say what the price of fuel was when they were young? exactly. It's the same for us, it's only going to get more expensive, maybe a slight de-crease but then it will be up again in no time. It will never be close to 90p a litre again so get used to it.

we'll have to pay it until the invent a cheap substitute.

I filled up with 100 RON V-Power for €1.799 yesterday, it's down to €1.779 today, and has fallen at least a cent every day since the middle of last week

Just been he petrol station and got my weeks fuel, don't fancy waiting until tomorrow evening and being faced with a 20 minute wait which is what normally happens when stuff like this goes on.

Protest is a waste of time anyway, fuel isn't going down. Time to face facts

There's been a almost $20 drop in the price of fuel and a handful of petrol stations round here have drop their prices by 1p. BP put their prices up 1p.

Now THAT'S not fair.
