Say i want to download some torrents, can I use an iPad? If so, once they are downloaded and I'm sitting at my desk, how do i watch them while I eat my lunch, how does it stand up so the screen is tilted slightly back from the vertical? Do I then get pissed that the screen is covered in finger prints and have to keep cleaning it every time i've touched it? What can it do that a laptop can't? I like having actual keys to touch, do i have to look at the keyboard on it all the time or can i feel where the keys are? All these things I'd like to know from someone who owns one thanks x

im not buying one now because its not flash compatible. bearing in mind this will be my only source of the net i need it to be flexible in that respect.

also, you can download an app that lets you view flash websites

BBC is the one i keep tripping up. iPlayer they are fine but all of the inline web videos are flash based

regarding the fact it takes photos, i'd feel a dick carrying that thing round and using it as a camera. does it have usb so i can use a dongle for internet on the move?

Love mine. It's great for reading books, playing movies and generally browsing from the sofa or my bed.
I can also plug into a HDMI port on the TV and play movies that way.
I like the fact it's so small and i can carry it in my overnight bag and leave my laptop at home without the need of another bag to carry.

It has no DVD drove, you can put video files on it though. It comes with either wifi or wifi and 3G depending on what you buy
