How the hell are Chelsea going to be allowed in Europe when the rules come in to play when they go round splashing the money to release this guy, £50m on Torres, £20m on Luiz and then however much it'll cost for Falcao. They make no money, surely they are fucked long term?

this coming from a man united fan spending ridiculous amounts on average english players.
Spending money that they made themselves, Ben G. Man United have got well over £100m in the bank, all their own money.
Chelsea and Man City do not make any money. They run at massive losses and go spending someone elses money.
We are spending our own money, unlike Barcelona and Real Madrid who spend the banks money.

You're spending your owners money. Not the clubs money.
If the club was making £50-£100m profit a year and then chose to go out and spend that on players fair enough. But your not. Same applies for Chelsea.

So? Glazers spent the banks money so technically although you have £100m in the bank its money they should be using to pay for the club....

They bought United, it's the Glazers debt, not Uniteds. Even though they are already using money from United to pay for it

It's like getting a loan against a car. You don't put every penny you earn into paying off that car as it is still worth something. I have a loan, but can still go out and buy an iPad or something.

Easy. All abramovich has to do is setup a fake company/use one he already has then use them as a sponsor for the club so that they pay into the club whatever extra income they need. So many loop holes.

I thought I had read that they can't do that either. Any deals that happen to do with sponsors or boxes and are linked to the owner have to be at what is deemed a normalish rate.
How they keep tabs on that I don't know
