I have never believed in anything that is in the Bible tbh.
I'm not religous and nor is anyone in my family.
Also, Scientology sounds like as much bollocks as the Bible to me.

Moses?

Jesus was a person, thats pretty much agreed on. Was he the son of god? thats up to the individual to believe.

We are obviously the most technologically advanced humans to have inhabited the earth but it doesnt mean everything we state is correct.

The majority of people don't understand science or religion.

One thing that I had never considered that blew my mind recently is that this could have all happened before.

Big bang, hundreds of billions of years, big squeeze, repeat.

I had always thought of the big bang as the start of everything, not just the start of everything this time.

plausible but obviously everything is variable, the excat same conditions i believe couldnt be replicated meaning the result would be different

I've always had that theory. It was what let me be able to sleep when I used to sit asleep wondering about what happened when you died... If it was true, it'd technically mean as soon as you died, you'd be reborn in the next iteration (as you'd have no concept of the time that elapsed while you didn't exist or any knowledge of your previous cycle).

The only problem with this theory is that it sucks for anyone who has a shit life, as they'll repeat it again and again.

Of course, you could try to counter that with an argument that each cycle could be slightly different, to an infinite number of iterations = every possible outcome happens. One iteration you go left, next you go right, in most you don't exist at all... etc Of course that then gets into further arguments which is that faced with the exact same variables, would you make the same decision every time? (probably).

The other thing with the whole theory of the big bang being a cycle was that the maths that goes to pot on quantum scale, would actually be the reason that once the universe has completely collapsed on itself, it would repel itself back out again.
