TBH I could easily be a blackout, as he is doing a turn at the time.

They still can, the suits they wear try to force blood to the head during a turn, but they still need to do the breathing exercises where you hold your breath and try to breath out...without breathing out if you know what I mean? Where it gives you a red face.

There are lots of things that can cause pilot incapacitation.

G suits don't force blood to the head, they attempt to stop it draining away in the first place.

Also the AAIB won't be doing this investigation as it is a military plane, any input anyone has it this stage is pure conjecture, even the news teams are clutching at straws really.

source as far as i was aware no information had been released most was just guesswork, if that was the case though then it clearly wasnt a pilot blackout

I watched a video of his wife being interviewed on BBC news website. I cannot believe how well she held it together!! I would be a complete wreck! I certainly would not be able to speak so apparently calmly literally hours after someone close had died!! That and it was the first time she had actually seen him do a full display :-(

Aviate, navigate, communicate. Perfectly reasonable excuse if there was no mayday call.

aye, but they are reserved for their own sick joke thread, of which you are very well aware of the content and therefore dont have to open it,

sad loss and feeling for his family and friends

also, i doubt blackout very much, im going down with mechanical / electrical component failure, as although the raf aircraft have a second-to-none (and then some) approach to maintenance, paticularly the red arrows, as they need to be kept airworthy for obvious PR reasons etc, they are being asked to perform ridiculous manouveres, right on the boundaries of physical science limitations, and with any component, as we all knw from cars, they break spontaneously, as well as due to wear and tear over time
