I agree joint campaign is the best bit, i did laugh out loud at some parts
But I couldnt enjoy it split screen....would have to do it over live. which is what we do.....in the same house
Also horde is best played over live and if you wanted to keep up to date with the map packs you would need online too
plus they often end up patching the game which requires online
are we still fucking the online stuff
p.s how old are you Gary to make you a kid in 2006

25, not played any games since i was 16ish, apart from Gears and Forza.
Online bores me a bit tbh, could only play for a short while till i got sick of it.
Agree with the split screen, but i have a pretty big TV so didnt seem as bad.

I have never been keen on multiplayer unless im playing with people i know
But get a group of you playing horde and its pretty good fun
Its team work rather than getting owned by americans constant

Oh yeah, i remember!
Another thing that annoyed me is everyone seemed to know how to use all the blips/bugs in the maps to get on top of buildings (Gears1) etc. Annoying bastards

I was hoping stores would be having some sort of price war. It seems they only care about COD and FIFA .

Gears of War 3 gets a DLC season pass offering customers a 33 per cent saving on the forthcoming shooter's first four add-ons, publisher Microsoft has announced.
Available from the game's 20th September launch priced at 2400 Points, the virtual voucher lets you download the first four packs on the day they release and also throws in access to the exclusive Liquid Metal Weapon Set.
The first DLC pack for the game lands in November, though there's no word yet on what form it will take.

That's pretty tempting as I've got at least £30 in clubcard vouchers
