I'm finding fifa 12 quite hard tbh, much harder than 11 and others! 
I've learned its all about been patient and not rushing in for the ball.

Yup. Stand off the man and be patient, wait for him to try and commit to going past you and put your tackle in. 99% of my attempts are a slide tackle, and if you miss the ball you certainly won't miss the man 
Has anyone else found that Lionel Messi is far better now than he was when he was on the demo? He seemed quite slow, and didn't have the greatest first touch, or control for that matter But I used him for the first time against my mate last night and he was absolutely immense.

Messi is fucking immense in the game, he's already over 1 mill on UT.
There's a few people who seem to be well off though, Pennant is just as quick as wright phillips for example
Also Bellamy appears to be better at heading than Carroll.

I use my sexbox more often now, mate. All my friends do so I thought it would be best to follow suit I'm looking forward to seeing who the new In Form's are! Oh, and a word of advice... Buy as many Team of the Year/Player of the Year players as you can (which they will no doubt bring out in December, even though they already did at the end of the season!!), because they will go for an absurd price for a week or so, then they will drop right down, then a few weeks later they will be worth astronomical amounts

Bought 3 bales for under 40,000 and sold each one for over 60,000 Winner. Need to actually buy one now though, and run out of money

I'd seriously keep him. From the many games I've played against my mate, he's by far the most effective striker I've used. Wins a lot in the air, quite strong, seriously quick and a great finish. Just win a few games to get someone else

FUT is decent when the servers are working!
I've got the Wales team at the momemt (apart from Bale as he's too expensive).
Only played a couple of games, but chem is 100 so they're easy to play with. I've just been messing about on the auctions.. need to buy some expensive players now and sell them on.
