I had the car rolling roaded today quite happy with the result, it made 138.6hp at the wheels.
More importantly the graph showed a smooth power delivery which was constant all the way through the rev range.
When I put my mods on over Christmas it should be a fair bit quicker then I will get it done again and should see a fair bit more power

Well the cars just threw up three yellow lights on the dash, asc, tyre pressure, and abs.
This usually means the speed sensor is funked. So instead of a new cam I will be replacing these!!

Well some girl decided to drive into the back of me today at 30mph while I was stopped in traffic, so the cars away to get assessed and fixed hopefully, all plans are now on hold till I find the extent of the damage.

Back is in shit state at the minute, neck is fine though.
Been to hospital and they said its muscular.
Pretty raging that it happened but it was an accident and they happen.
At least the car will be nice and shiny when I get it back as the back and at least one side will need spraying .

Tbf it didn't look that bad, bumper and boot are fucked, exhaust and rear quarter are fucked, just don't know what damage is underneath all that. Hers was a 206 and that was destroyed total right off.
Back is worse today can't bend at all

I would say you'll check the repair work in a week or after washing it as that's when you'll notice imperfections

Well as I finally get paid at the end of the month I'm eventually getting to order my smaller pulley kit

This will be getting fitted in april when I'm getting it mot'd along with new discs and pads.
Any recommendations on discs and pads??
I would get the bbk for it but as this is my first wage since december the funds (read as mrs) wont allow.

Which size are you going for on the pulley?

Discs and pads are one of those things that everybody seem to have different opinions on!

I've upgraded my front set up to the R56 Cooper S calipers, then have EBC ultimax discs and EBC Yellowstuff pads (along with braided lines)

I'm going for the 16% mate, and may change to a 17 when I finally get around to a new intercooler.
I have been looking at the r56 cooper s kits but they are £££ and I'm skint for the next month tbh.
I can get Mintex discs and pads for front and rear for £130.dont know if thats good or not though as I hav'nt bought brakes since my let about 4 years ago

Nice, should make a big difference to how it feels atm! You'll definitely need that intercooler on there ASAP though if you're still running the standard one - mine still seems to get too hot now as it is!

Yeh I sourced the calipers from a breaker somewhere in the Midlands iirc, then bought the discs, pads and lines brand new from Camskill (who were cheapest at the time) whole set up inc. uprated brake fluid cost me £500 ish I think.

Better than standard, but wish I'd spent more and got the Carbotec (sp) set up - got taken out in one at Minicraft the other month with that set up, and the difference to mine is night & day!

I'm going to go round our local sports car breaker next week to see what I can "buy"
I've been looking through minitorque but tbh some of the stuff they sell seems to be almost the price of new.
I wont pass my mot with these discs and pads anyway so will probably just order the mintex till I can source some brembos or better.
I will get the intercooler hopefully when my claim comes through, however I have a holiday to Florida and a wedding to pay for.
