You can get it mapped so the map comes on with the sports button, that's a proper use for it.

I know someone who had a map linked to the sport button then the sport button linked into one of the steering wheel buttons.

Why would you want to do that instead of pressing the one on the dash?

^my thought but handy at same time sorta lol
my mates got a black 57 3 dr with the XP on and its really nice, its also 198 bhp and got 444nm of torque on the sport button and fitted with the TX autosport front mount intercooler kit with all boost hoses and pipes etc but only problem is the torque of its killed the dual mass flywheel

Ok well after much thinking and viewing of car's that were "perfect" "like new" and all turned out to be far from it, ive decided to go for a brand new Fiesta Zetec S

I can place the order next month so just finalising my extra's ect, the only problem i am having is which engine to go for. I drive a straight fairly uninterrupted 10 miles to work each way every day.

So do i go for the diesel, its £400 more to buy and obviously more on fuel at the pump, but returns good MPG and one of the main things is the tax is NILL

Or the 1.6 petrol cheaper to buy, can have the street pack fitted as standard (bigger wheels factory tinted window) cheaper fuel at the pump, down side is tax is around £70 and slightly less MPG although new modern petrol engines still return good MPG

£400 is nothing.

It will be quicker and worth more when you come to sell, plus no tax is a bonus.

Yeah this is true, tbf though my main bother was that on the diesel you can't have the street pack as a factory option for some reason? Iv seen diesels with them but on the order form it now says petrol models only.

And the 17" wheels and tints finish it for me but I guess in the long run its a small factor compared to how much I'll save, plan on keeping It for a good few years

I'd haggle with them to have them add the street pack.

Thing is I'm ordering through my dads work and can only order what's on the order form, so can't get round the street pack part, guess I'll just have to buy them both after
