Depends whether or not I can be arsed to make them the night before, as I always run out of time in the morning. I had a bacon and egg roll, followed by two bananas, and a pizza hut all you can eat buffet today. About £15... which is a decent weeks worth of packed lunch... I see where you're going.

Used to buy off the butty person all the time but trying to be good now, couple of sandwiches made at home and a cheap can of soup

I'm trying to cut down on my money wasting ways. Worked out I smoke away £300+ a month with cigs/bud. Stupid.

Used to spend

£1 tea and toast in the morning
£3 lunch

Probably a few more cups of tea during the day, so over a fiver per day.

Cheaper eating at home but when I'm working again I'll probably eat out, not time to make stuff and I would probably forget to take it anyway.

How do people not have time to place some ham on a muffin and wrap it in foil? Nobody is that busy.

There's another word for it too.

Lazy.

I generally have Shredded Wheat for B'fast, and a tin of 59p tomato soup for lunch

No wonder i have so much money

I'll re-phrase, I'm too lazy to devote minutes that I could otherwise spend sitting at a computer.

This. Although its a teacake
I'm not criticising your choices, if you want to buy your dinner that's entirely your choice but surely no one is so busy they can't knock a few butties up.

I pretty much always take my dinner to work, might buy a sandwich now and then but always take drinks/snacks. 70-80p for a can vs 20-30p from the supermarket and taking cordial is even cheaper still.

My dad makes our lunch, normally a lovely fresh sandwich or a pasta with a scotch egg from the butchers.
