Others that were on there that i have done:
Get a dog
Treat myself to some new clothes
Redecorate the bedroom
Go on holiday
What's unrealistic in that list?
How long ago was it I posted that Lee?
Always said I'd feel loads better, like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders once my OD and car loan were paid off. Paid them off ages ago and feel no different.
There was also some non-material stuff on the list I didn't post that I've achieved like win individual of the year at work and work my way up into a specific role.

Its hard for anyone else to say without knowing my circumstances.
My OD and Loan could have been £15k with only £50 disposable income per month, in which case it's massively unrealistic.

You posted it on 16/11/10 so just under 12months; I'm not debating that you've achieved something, just that you said a lot of it was unrealistic - with graft/determination, I can't see anything unachieveable in your list

**Goes off to write more challenging wish list**
1. Cure 3rd world poverty
2. Find a way to grant eternal life
3. Reach top 5 on world rich list
4. Break world record for 100m sprint
Should have that done in 12 months, then I'll definately be happy for the rest of my life.

At the moment, I don't know how I feel, Everything just doesn't feel right.
Recently split with the gf, things don't seem to be right at work and it now seems that i am growing further and further away from my mates so just end up sitting there on a night stewing on my own about everything!

List of material things is your first problem.
iPhone 4 won't make you happy.

EDIT: That wasn't a list of things that will make me happy
In it's original context it was simply a list of things I'd like to have, hence 'wish list', regardless of how they made me feel.
I think it would take more than a few gadgets and no debt to make someone truly happy.

I'm reasonably happy I would say. Work gets me down sometimes, so does the monotomy of daily life (occasionally) but I feel lucky to have a nice girlfriend and be reasonably comfortable where I live, have a few decent mates, and generally find something to keep me entertained during weekends etc.
I need a new car, some new stuff for my house and I'd like more holidays but all that can be worked on and won't ultimately make me any happier (as it's human nature to want new things continuously).

I should be. Have my dream job, lovely house, decent car, two fantastic horses, good friends, however I'm not, just feel something is missing.
